Too often, politicians forget who they work for. They all promise us a voice but it is a promise all too often forgotten. This seat belongs to the people of this district. If elected, I will listen to and be guided by your collective voices for every vote I cast. I will not forget who holds the power of this seat; it is you.
   I am a woman of faith who strives to be obedient to her Lord and savior Jesus Christ. He has given me a strong, moral compass to live by, and I will not heed the advice of those who have suggested that I be politically correct by leaving Him out of my campaign.
   I seek to be your senator because we need a change in the senatorial leadership of this district. We need someone with fresh eyes and a commitment to work for the people. We do not need a continuation of the same old way of doing things. I will be accessible and accountable to the voters.
